Lucas will likely be signed for the rest of the season when his current 10-day contract expires, Keith Langlois of Pistons.com reports. The news isn't all good for Lucas, as Spencer Dinwiddie is slated to start Friday's game against the Bulls. Reggie Jackson, who will serve as the Pistons' new starting point guard, should be available for Sunday's game against Washington. Lucas may split minutes with Dinwiddie on Friday, but his rest-of-season outlook isn't promising.

Lucas scored nine points (4-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt) with six assists and a steal in just 12 minutes off the bench Wednesday. The veteran guard is doing his best to prove that he can be trusted to back up DJ Augustin for the rest of the season, but even if the Pistons do decide to sign him for the rest of the season, it would take an Augustin injury for Lucas to have any real fantasy value.

Lucas will sign a second 10-day contract with the Pistons on Thursday, the Pistons' official site reports.Since joining the Pistons on Feb. 1, Lucas has logged time in all six games, averaging four points (on 36 percent shooting), 3.8 assists, and 0.8 three-pointers in 13 minutes. If he continues to spell D.J. Augustin effectively in Brandon Jennings' (Achilles) absence, Lucas could remain with the team for the rest of the season.

Lucas is expected to sign a second 10-day contract with the Pistons, the Detroit Free Press reports. Lucas still has roughly four days left on his first 10-day contract, so it seems that he'll be the backup point guard in Detroit for another couple of weeks. The Pistons are in dire need of point guard depth after the season-ending injury to Brandon Jennings (Achilles), so it's entirely possible that Lucas is eventually signed on for the rest of the season. Although it's important to realize that he'll play second fiddle to starter D.J. Augustin this season, as the veteran has only played a total of 22 minutes over his first two games with Detroit.

Lucas will sign a 10-day contract with the Pistons, Marc Stein of ESPN reports. The Pistons are in desperate need of some depth at point guard and Lucas will be able to provide just that. At 31-years old, the veteran still has to prove his worth during this stint in Detroit before the Pistons decide whether or not to lock him up for the rest of the season.

Lucas will sign a deal with a team in China after pulling out of a scheduled workout with the Lakers, ESPN's Marc Stein reports. This will likely mean the end of Lucas's NBA career, given that he's already 31, and couldn't make the Wizards' roster after training camp.

Lucas has officially signed with the Wizards, Sportando reports. Lucas will presumably step in and fill the 15th roster spot with the regular season set to begin next week. In six NBA seasons, the former Oklahoma State star has spent time with Houston, Chicago, Toronto and Utah. He appeared in 42 games for the Jazz last season, averaging 3.8 points and 1.0 assists in just over 14 minutes. At a glance, Lucas will likely slide in as the third or fourth point guard behind John Wall and Andre Miller.

Lucas was waived by the Celtics on Sunday, Marc Stein of ESPN reports. Lucas has been moved multiple times this offseason but spent the majority of last year planted on Utah's bench. With this news, he'll become a free agent looking to find a team that will take him on as an extra option off the bench.
