Young was held without a point (0-4 FG) and had five rebounds and one assist over 16 minutes in Monday's 122-100 loss to the Hornets.
EDGE Analysis
With established options like Paul George, Jeff Teague and Monta Ellis occupying three of the Pacers' starting spots and Myles Turner representing an up-and-coming talent at the center, there's been little room for Young to see much involvement on the offensive end. He's topped double-digit shot attempts just three times in seven games, and despite shooting 55 percent from the field, he's averaging only 10.7 points per contest. It's Young's worst scoring average since his rookie season, and there's no guarantee it will improve much from here unless an extended absence for one of those other aforementioned starters opens up more shot attempts for everyone.
