Vasquez (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Bulls, Michael Scotto of Basketball Insiders reports.

Vasquez left Saturday's game against the Bucks with a sore right ankle and did not return, and it looks as if that ankle injury may be a nagging one. Vasquez should still be considered day-to-day at this point, with his next opportunity to play being Wednesday against the Pistons. With the Nets now thin in the backcourt, look for Sean Kilpatrick to help take on some of the ball handling duties with rookie Isaiah Whitehead also seeing some extended time on the floor behind starting point guard Jeremy Lin.
