Thompson is coming off the bench Monday against the Hawks, Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. Thompson will cede his starting power forward spot to Carl Landry, who projects as a better matchup versus the Hawks' Paul Millsap. Thompson has started the last eight games, but he's averaging only 5.4 points and 5.8 rebounds over that span.
