Splitter averaged 8.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.7 steals in 20 minutes per game through 52 games in the 2014-15 season. Splitter, who is signed through 2016-17, battled calf injuries all season. He has only played over 60 games in a regular season once in his five-year career, staying healthy enough to play in 81 games in 2012-13, which was conveniently a contract year for the vet. Despite his injuries, Splitter remains a valuable rotation piece in coach Gregg Popovich's system. This season, Splitter shot 56 percent from the field and 75 percent from the free-throw line. Though his rebounding numbers dropped from last season and his scoring has stayed relatively static, Splitter should return as the presumed starting center unless they sign someone else in the offseason.
