Smith started and scored six points (3-10 FG, 0-4 3Pt) and added one rebound, seven assists, and one steal in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 109-91 loss to the Raptors.
EDGE Analysis
Despite the terrible performance, there is still some good news for Smith. First, though Smith was bad, so was his backup, Beno Udrih. Udrih scored five points (1-5 FG, 3-4 FT) and managed only two assists in 15 minutes. Second, all of the point guard minutes were split between Smith and Udrih - the Pistons did not try to wedge a shooting guard into the position, despite Smith and Udrih's poor play and that the Pistons were losing by double digits most of the night.
