Smith registered 16 points (6-13 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, two rebounds and one steal across 34 minutes in Friday's 108-97 win over the Clippers.
EDGE Analysis
The 16 points and two three-pointers tied season highs for Smith, who has acted as more of a facilitator than scorer while starting all 17 games at point guard in place of Reggie Jackson (knee). While it appears Jackson is nearing a return after upping his involvement in practices this week, Smith should maintain a high-minute starting role for at least a few more games. Once Jackson returns, however, Smith figures to lose nearly all of his fantasy value, as he'll probably have to settle for a 15-to-20 minute role in most contests.
