Rose will not face any sort of minutes restriction in Tuesday's opener against the Cavaliers, Marc Berman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rose missed more than two weeks of preseason work while attending his civil trial in Los Angeles, but he's since been cleared of all charges and returned to practice with the team over the weekend. While coach Jeff Hornacek admitted that players are still learning how to play with Rose, considering his limited preseason action, the plan is for Rose to start opening night without any sort of restriction. As expected, Brandon Jennings, who's coming off of an encouraging preseason, will open as Rose's backup.
