Robinson tore the meniscus in his right knee and will have surgery on Wednesday, Andrew Keh of The New York Times reports. Robinson signed a new two-year deal with the Nets, and given that the tear is reportedly a small one, it appears that he won't be held out for too long. Entering the season, it is expected that Robinson will serve as Thaddeus Young's backup at the power forward position.
