Robinson is in line for unexpected minutes at the onset of the regular season with injuries to Tyreke Evans (knee), Norris Cole (ankle), and a minutes restriction on Jrue Holiday.

Currently Robinson and Holiday are the only point guards on the New Orleans roster with legitimate NBA experience, and with Holiday being restricted to just 15 minutes per game until January, Robinson will likely have significant value in the early goings of the 2015-16 campaign. Typically in the past he's proven his ability to score, dish out assists, garner steals, and convert from beyond the arc.
