Neal agreed to terms Friday with the Wizards on a one-year deal that will pay him $2.1 million, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports. Neal endured a difficult season in 2014-15, spending time with the Hornets and Timberwolves. The veteran averaged 11.8 points and 3.2 rebounds for Minnesota but struggled mightily in Charlotte, averaging just 9.6 points on 35.9 percent shooting. The Baltimore native will seek a fresh start near his hometown and should carve out 20 or so minutes per game off the bench on most nights.
