Mahinmi averaged 4.3 points, 0.5 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 0.5 steals, and 0.8 blocks in 19 minutes per game during 61 regular season games in 2014-15. Mahinmi struggled to stay healthy in 2014-15, suffering a torn left plantar fascia in early December, and having to deal with an ankle injury for most of February. Despite having a disappointing season, the 28-year-old center could emerge in 2015-16 if Roy Hibbert decides to decline his player option. Pacers president Larry Bird voiced his displeasure with Hibbert's performance in the end-of-season exit interviews, so Mahinmi has a clear opportunity to take on a larger role. If the Pacers decide to not make any offseason moves at the center position, Mahinmi could be worth a late round flyer in standard leagues next season.
