Mahinmi agreed to a four-year, $64 million contract with the Wizards, Tim Bontemps of the Washington Post reports.

The Wizards heavily pursued Al Horford in free agency, but after he signed with the Celtics the team turned to Mahinmi. In his first full season as a starter last year, Mahinmi averaged career highs across the board, averaging 9.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while shooting 59 percent from the field and playing 25.6 minutes per game. Now with Washington, he'll share time at Center with Marcin Gortat, and may even get the starting nod.
