Kanter compiled 15 points (7-11 FG, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 15 minutes in Tuesday's 97-87 preseason win over the Nuggets.
EDGE Analysis
For the second straight game, the Thunder leaned heavily on starting center Steven Adams, who played 25 minutes, but Kanter was able to flirt with a double-double in more limited time off the bench. Kanter is likely to surpass the 20-minute range most nights when the regular season arrives, which should be enough time for him to post quality lines on a fairly consistent basis. Kanter's ceiling for production is limited, however, by coach Billy Donovan's reluctance to deploy him alongside Adams as part of a super-sized frontcourt.
