Joe Alexander's one-year contract with the Russian team Krasyne Kaylya Samara will not include an out clause to return to the NBA this season. Alexander has largely been a bust since being selected eighth overall in the 2008 draft by the Milwaukee Bucks. He'll likely attempt to return to the NBA once the labor dispute is resolved, but he's a fringe player who may or may not find his way back into the league. Similarly to Gerald Green, Alexander's athleticism hasn't translated into his finding success.
