The veteran big man is slotted to begin the season behind Myles Turner at the five, but flashed some of his trademark offensive ability in a reserve role against the Pels. Jefferson is expected to provide quality depth at a minimum, and given his pedigree and presence down low, could certainly find himself in the starting lineup if Turner falters at any point during the season.
