Ilyasova has been traded from the Sixers to the Hawks in exchange for Tiago Splitter and a second-round pick, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports. The two teams will also swap second-round picks.
EDGE Analysis
Ilyasova has started 40 of the 53 games he's played in for the Sixers so far this season, averaging 14.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 2.0 three-pointers across 26.9 minutes. He's struggled with his shot of late, shooting just 36 percent from the field and 23 percent from the three-point line in February, but once dialed in, he should provide the Hawks with a solid stretch four that they didn't necessarily have on their roster. Ilyasova will likely be relegated to a bench role with Paul Millsap in the fold, so it seems likely he'll see a drop in playing time with the move to Atlanta. That said, his addition should provide a nice spark offensively for the Hawks' second unit. Ilyasova's departure from Philadelphia also likely means a big boost for rookie Dario Saric, who could draw into the starting lineup. Nerlens Noel is a player that could also see an uptick in time with the Sixers.
