EDGE Analysis
Despite the tough shooting night, it was encouraging to see Holiday remain aggressive throughout the contest. His heavy involvement was evidenced by the veteran putting up over 20 shot attempts for the second consecutive night, while equaling a season high with eight visits to the charity stripe. With the depleted condition of the Pelicans backcourt, Holiday also played over 30 minutes for the second straight game, a trend that could continue in New Orleans' next game versus Brooklyn on Saturday if Tyreke Evans (knee) continues on the shelf. Of note as well is Holiday's outstanding ball distribution over the last three games, during which he's averaged 8.7 assists.
