Henderson hasn't been cleared for full-contact drills and is unsure whether he'll be able to play in the opener on Oct. 28 against the Pelicans, Erik Gundersen of The Columbian reports.
EDGE Analysis
Henderson underwent a left hip debridement shortly after he was acquired from from the Hornets in late June, which is clouding his return to the court. Once he does so, he could be eased into action, while CJ McCollum handles two-guard. In the long run, coach Terry Stotts will have to make a decision on the Blazers' starting shooting guard, but Henderson's veteran status may give him an upper hand in the competition.
