The veteran has put together a productive preseason overall and much like the last two seasons, has been aggressive from beyond the arc. After being a below-average three-point shooter for the balance of his career, Gooden has posted 41 percent and 39 percent three-point shooting seasons over the last two campaigns, and has shot 42 percent from long range during the current exhibition slate. As he demonstrated during both the regular campaign and postseason last year, Gooden can stuff the stat sheet in various categories over an average of 15-to-20 minutes a night in the frontcourt when called upon.
