Gasol (ankle) is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's preseason finale versus the Timberwolves, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports.

Gasol has dealt with a bone bruise in his foot recently and there was some concern originally it could sideline him for an extended absence. However, after it was revealed to be just a bruise, the Grizzlies indicated they expected to have him available for the start of the regular season and his availability for Wednesday's game only confirms that Gasol should be good to go moving forward. Considering it's his first game back, it wouldn't be surprising if Gasol saw his minutes restricted.
