Garnett is expected to start and be able to play at least 20 minutes per game according to his coach Flip Saunders, Kyle Ratke of Timberwolves.com reports. Saunders could be a bit premature in his proclamation for the season ahead at this early point in the offseason, but nonetheless Garnett should be the expected starter alongside rookie Karl-Anthony Towns until Saunders retracts the statements he made Friday while attending the Las Vegas Summer League. However, the 39-year-old's value is confined to deeper formats since it's unlikely he'll play for much longer than 20 minutes and of course there's the possibility he'll also need to rest during back-to-back games.
