Ellis submitted 11 points (3-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven assists, one rebound and one steal across 27 minutes in Wednesday's 111-103 preseason loss to the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
After superstar Paul George, the Pacers boast a fairly balanced scoring attack among their remaining four starters, which will likely inhibit Ellis from improving upon the 12.6 shots per game he received in 2015-16, which was his lowest mark since his rookie season. That being said, Ellis' track record of durability and solid, if not spectacular outputs in the points, assists, rebounds, steals and three-pointers categories should make him a reliable fantasy commodity. He's a good roster option in the middle rounds of most formats, and could even be had later than that given his perceived lack of upside.
