DeRozan put up 26 points (10-18 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 24 minutes in Wednesday's 103-92 preseason win over the Pistons.
EDGE Analysis
The duo of DeRozan and Kyle Lowry (27 points in 29 minutes) combined to post a point for every minute they spent on the court, which is almost always a winning recipe. After reaching the Eastern Conference Finals last season, the Raptors again look like one of the top teams in the league after retaining most of their core, with the re-signing of DeRozan to a max deal representing their top offseason priority. DeRozan has averaged better than 20 points per game in each of the last three seasons, and since he's still just 27 years old, it's unlikely that trend will end in 2016-17.
