Davis is under orders by coach Alvin Gentry to make 150 corner three-pointers from each side of the court every day he works out this summer, the Times-Picayune reports. "That's got to become a consistent shot for him," Gentry said. "I don't think he's going to have any problem doing it. If you go back and look at his high school days, he was a very good 3-point shooter. We want him to shoot that shot. So I think you probably see him make more 3s than he's made his entire career." Davis has made three three-pointers in his three-year career, but if he were to add a consistent long-range shot to his arsenal, his only negative fantasy category would be assists, and that's if Gentry doesn't utilize him as the offensive hub. Alternatively, adding a three-point shot will likely decrease his field goal percentage and sap a few of his rebounding chances, but that's the tradeoff a well-rounded offensive game. Should he stay healthy, Davis is in line to return number one fantasy value this season.
