Crawford played a game-high 44 minutes and provided 17 points (6-23 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four assists, three rebounds, and two steals in Wednesday's 108-98 Game 5 loss to the Trail Blazers.
EDGE Analysis
While it was surprising that Crawford entered the starting lineup as coach Doc Rivers opted to go with a three-guard lineup in the wake of the absences of Chris Paul (hand) and Blake Griffin (quad), it was less of a shocker that he saw such extensive playing time while attempting six more shots than any other player. Unfortunately for Crawford, he struggled to get going throughout the evening, resulting in a rather empty stat line. Crawford has now shot just 10-for-38 from the floor over the last two games, but that likely won't deter him from firing away when the Clippers face elimination in Game 6, as he's one of the few natural scorers in the lineup with Paul and Griffin out.
