Bonner announced his retirement Friday, Jeff McDonald of The San Antonio Express News reports.

Bonner's tenure with the Spurs came to an end this past offseason and he had not found another team to latch on with in the 2016-17 campaign. The 36-year-old was a career 41.4 percent shooter from three-point range and he played on two championship teams while with the Spurs.
