Biyombo scored three points (0-3 FG, 3-6 FT) and added eight rebounds, two assists, and a block in 26 minutes during Wednesday's 123-107 loss to the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
Despite playing his season high in minutes, Biyombo's fantasy value did not rise as a result of Wednesday's game. The Magic were losing by 22 at the end of the first quarter, and the blowout loss contributed to Biyombo's large workload. But he was clearly outplayed by starting center Nikola Vucevic, who recorded a double-double and also played more minutes than his season average. If there is any benefit moving forward, it was that Biyombo and Vucevic shared the floor more Wednesday than they usually do. With power forward Serge Ibaka under-performing and the Magic losing games, it is conceivable that they will experiment more with this pairing in the future.
