Biyombo compiled three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 FT), 14 rebounds and one block across 34 minutes in Wednesday's 95-94 loss to the Grizzlies.
EDGE Analysis
Biyombo's season-high rebound total lost some of its luster in nine-category formats since the center also turned the ball over a season-high five times, but that should be viewed as a more of an aberration for the big man, who typically doesn't see the ball much on offense. Biyombo has mostly been a disappointment during his first season with the Magic, but coach Frank Vogel's faith in Biyombo hasn't wavered. Because he's more an impact defender at the back end, Biyombo has displaced Nikola Vucevic as the starting center for the last three games and has seen 30-plus-minute workloads in four straight contests. If that allotment of playing time continues for Biyombo, he could start to turn in double-digit rebound totals with more regularity.
