Batum, who has been bothered since late in the regular season by lower left leg issues, was able to fight through the pain and play his most minutes since Game 2, but it ultimately proved fruitless as the Hornets were soundly defeated. With the Hornets now officially sent packing, Batum should have the entire offseason to rest up and heal while entering free agency as an attractive commodity.
