Barnes (finger) will come off the bench Thursday versus the Pistons, David Mayo of MLive Media Group reports.

Barnes will be replaced by Tony Allen in the starting lineup. He had started the previous 13 games he had played, but that streak will come to an end Thursday. The Grizzlies may be playing it cautious, as Barnes was unable to go Tuesday versus the Celtics. The starting small forward spot will be something to monitor going forward.
