Barea scored 14 points (6-12 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) with three assists in 23 minutes Saturday. With Rajon Rondo hurting his knee, Barea could be in line for some starts down the stretch, as he has been Rick Carlisle's preferred starter when Rondo has sat previously. In his 10 starts this season, Barea has averaged 11.0 points, 3.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists in 29 minutes per game and if Rondo is to in fact miss time, Barea will be a nice add for a lot of leagues.
