Aminu agreed Tuesday to a four-year, $30 million deal with the Blazers, Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports. He declined his player option with the Mavs to become a free agent, and it seemed that decision paid off. LaMarcus Aldridge is widely expected to leave Portland in free agency, and with Nicolas Batum gone and Wesley Matthews' future uncertain, the Blazers appear to all of a sudden be a rebuilding team. Aminu figures to start at small forward for the Blazers, while also offering an option to play power forward in some smaller lineups. He should be a good across-the-board contributor, specifically in rebounds, as long as he is seeing major minutes.
