Aldemir will make his first NBA start Wednesday against the Knicks, Tom Moore of Calkins Media reports. With Nerlens Noel (illness) and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee) both sitting out, Aldemir will get the starting nod in what will be his 16th career NBA game. The Turkey native has seen his playing time vacillate since signing with the Sixers in mid-December, but he's averaging 4.1 rebounds in just 11.1 minutes this month. Aldemir's offensive game is still very much a work in progress, however, so he's best avoided in most formats.
