Davis said he's fully healthy and has been working out with the intention of returning to the NBA this season, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Davis sat out the 2015-16 season while recovering from left ankle surgery last September, resulting in a cool market for the big man even when he was presumably close to full health in the second half. At 30 years old, the 6-foot-9 Davis is probably on the downside of his career, but if he proves he's healthy in workouts this summer, he could attract interest from a team as a training camp invitee.

Davis's agent said Tuesday that the forward, who is recovering from left ankle surgery, is expected to resume basketball activities later in November, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Once he begins training on the court again, Davis will likely require several weeks of conditioning work before he receives any serious tryouts with NBA teams. Davis appeared in 74 games with the Clippers last season, averaging four points and 2.3 rebounds over 12.2 minutes per contest.

Davis averaged 4.0 points (46% FG, 0% 3Pt, 63% FT), 2.3 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.3 blocks in 12 minutes per game during 74 regular season games in 2014-15. In 14 playoff games, Davis scored 2.9 points (45% FG, 0% 3Pt, 78% FT) to go along with 1.9 rebounds, 0.2 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.4 blocks in 10 minutes per game. Davis said he's ankle is fully healed in advance of Thursday's Game 6. "I'm feeling better," Davis said. "I feel 100 percent, finally. Look forward to getting out there and bringing some energy." Davis suffered a low ankle sprain back in Game 6 of the Clippers' first round series against the Spurs, but he has not missed any time and continues to play spot minutes off the bench. For the series, Davis is averaging 2.4 points and 0.8 rebounds in 9.2 minutes. He'll likely continue to play a minimal role, as Spencer Hawes has emerged as the primary backup to DeAndre Jordan.

Davis (ankle) played his usual bench role Saturday, scoring six points (3-5 FG) with three rebounds and two blocks in 11 minutes in Game 7 on Saturday. Davis is Doc Rivers' preferred big man option off the bench, with Spencer Hawes not seeing the court in Game 7 at all, but his production doesn't make him much of a viable option for postseason fantasy formats.

Davis (ankle) will be able to play Saturday, the Los Angeles Times' Brad Turner reports. He will occupy his typical role of frontcourt depth off the bench as the Clippers look to advance to the second round with a win in Game 7 against the Spurs.

Davis' left ankle feels better, and he may be able to play Saturday against the Spurs, the Los Angeles Times reports. Davis sustained a low ankle sprain Thursday and was already deemed questionable for Saturday's Game 7. If he's able to take the court, he may not approach the 13 minutes per outing that he's averaged in the first six contests of the series. However, the Clippers' lack of depth could force him to muster a decent minutes load off the bench.

Davis (ankle) suffered a low ankle sprain in Thursday's Game 6 win over the Spurs, Ben Bolch of the LA Times reports. He is considered questionable for Saturday's Game 7. Davis left the game in the fourth quarter and was seen in a wheelchair afterward. The Clippers initially feared the injury was more severe, but it looks as though Davis has a chance to play on one day's rest Saturday.

Davis (ankle) suffered a sprained left ankle during the fourth quarter of Game 6 against San Antonio will not return, Isaac Lowenkron of Fox Sports reports. Davis landed awkwardly early in the fourth quarter and will not return to action. His absence could prove costly as Blake Griffin has already played well over 30 minutes.
