He's successfully fending off Kevin Seraphin (four points in 19 minutes) for playing time and has averaged a workman-like 10.2 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in January, good enough for low-end value.

Emeka Okafor had his third double-double in a row on Monday with 19 points and 11 rebounds to go with two assists and one block in 27 minutes. His minutes have been inconsistent lately since he's played in less than 23 minutes in two of his last six games. He's still be putting up nice numbers for owners in standard leagues that need boards.

Emeka Okafor double-doubled with 12 points and 12 rebounds to go with two blocks in Monday's win over the Thunder. Okafor hit 5-of-10 shots and logged 37 minutes with Nene and others out tonight, and owners should give him some credit for a good night but keep their expectations where they were before tonight. Okafor is an inconsistent, borderline option best suited for deeper leagues.

Emeka Okafor started at center but played under 20 minutes on Sunday, finishing a loss in Miami with five points, nine rebounds, one steal and zero blocks. Kevin Seraphin played 31 minutes as Okafor's sluggish January continued -- through four games he's averaging just 9.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 0.3 blocks, while cracking 30 minutes one time. He's coming off a game in which he missed 6-of-7 FTs, and he can safely be cut for another free agent.

Emeka Okafor scored 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting with seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals over 31 minutes in Friday's double-overtime loss to the Nets. Randy Wittman is riding the hot hand between Okafor and Kevin Seraphin (1-of-9 FGs, 18 minutes), and Okafor has been playing mostly well over the last week. We can't guarantee that he will keep it up, but he's worth a look while the good nights are outweighing the bad.

Emeka Okafor had 14 points, 11 rebounds and zero blocks in Tuesday's loss to Dallas. Okafor has now double-doubled in four of his last five games and is worth picking up by any owner in need of a fantasy center.

Emeka Okafor had a season-high 18 boards to go with 11 points and two blocks in 36 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday. Okafor has double-doubles in three of his last four games and played at least 29 minutes in each of those games. There's probably enough of a body of work to grab Okafor in some standard leagues. Kevin Seraphin wasn't too shabby in 28 minutes with 12 points and six boards and also is worth a look in standards.

Emeka Okafor hit 8-of-14 shots for 17 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks in 30 minutes on Wednesday. That makes two straight double-doubles for Okafor, and while we don't trust him and Randy Wittman, it could be time to grab Okafor if you're hurting a center. Over his last five games, Okafor is averaging 10.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks.

The Wizards fell again on Saturday despite Emeka Okafor's 14 points, 14 rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 29 minutes. Washington has lost seven straight to fall to 3-22 on the season, but at least they kept this game vaguely competitive after getting demolished by Detroit on Friday. As for Okafor, his usual trickle of big man stats (7.1 points, 5.8 boards, 1.2 blocks) makes him a borderline option in 14-team leagues.

Emeka Okafor followed up his season-high 19-point effort from Wednesday with just two points, five rebounds, two assists, and one block in 17 minutes on Friday against the Lakers. Okafor has been woefully inconsistent this season and his injury history should be enough to keep most owners away.
