Bosh (flu) said at morning shootaround that he still wasn't feeling fully like himself, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bosh missed the latter half of the 2014-15 season with a blood clot in his lung. The flu like symptoms he's dealt with are unrelated, and he's expected to be fully recovered before the start of the season. His conditioning could be a potential issue early on, so it'd be nice to see him get some more preseason action in.

Bosh sat out of practice on Friday due to illness, Jason Lieser of the Palm Beach Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The illness does not appear to be anything too serious. There is still no word on if Bosh will play in Monday's preseason matchup with the Spurs. Bosh had 18 points, three rebounds, and three assists in 23 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Magic.

Bosh, returning from issues with blood clots in his lungs, went 6-for-11 on field goal attempts for 14 points, and added seven rebounds and two assists in 23 minutes in the Heats first preseason game of the year on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Bosh looked great in his first NBA-action since February. Although the Heat lost, he was energetic, and seemed to shake off all the rust with a between-the-legs dime to Dwyane Wade for a layup. After LeBron James left, Bosh's fantasy value increase in many categories last year. It looks like we can expect good production from him in 2015-16 too, barring any more medical complications.

Bosh (lungs) has been given full clearance to participate in training camp without limitations, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bosh missed much of the second half of last season after blood clots emerged in his lungs, and he had been taking prescribed blood thinners throughout the offseason. No longer requiring the thinners, Bosh confirmed that he'll be at full strength heading into camp. "I am released and ready for contact," Bosh said. "I feel I'm in pretty good shape and ready to attack training camp."

Bosh (blood clots on lungs) looked good in player-organized practices this week, the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bosh was diagnosed with blood clots on his lungs in mid-February and ended up getting ruled out for the remainder of the season. He appears on track to be ready for training camp at the end of September, so it seems like he'll be ready for Opening Night, but until an official timeline comes down from the Heat, some level of ambiguity will remain with this situation.

Bosh (chest) was on the court going through drills Tuesday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Bosh is yet to begin contact work, but he has not suffered any setbacks and figures to be ready in advance of the start of training camp. While Bosh dealt with a serious blood clot issue last season, the positive in the situation is that he's not recovering from a debilitating injury, so most of his offseason work will be geared toward conditioning.

Bosh (chest) stated on NBA TV Tuesday that he will be ready on opening night for next season. This is great news for the Heat, as while it was expected that Bosh would be able to make a full recovery from his collapsed lung, his exact timetable was still up in the air. Now, with it confirmed that he will be ready to play in the first game of next season, Bosh will look to reassert himself as one of the best scoring forwards in the league and guide Miami back to the playoffs.

Bosh played in 44 regular season games before being hospitalized after suffering from a blood clot in one of his lungs. He was forced to sit out the final 30 games of the season, but in the 44 games he did play, he still managed to average 21.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. He is expected to make a full recovery heading into next season. This was the first year of Bosh's new five-year, $118 million contract, and while health concerns got the best of him this year, it appears as if Bosh will serve as the main offensive threat for Miami for at least the next few seasons. However, Bosh may be playing a slightly different role next season with the emergence of big man Hassan Whiteside. Bosh had grown accustomed to playing the center position, but now, with Whiteside proving is worth as a starting center on both ends of the floor, it is very likely that Bosh moves back to the power forward position, a spot on the floor he played for many years before. Regardless, next season, as long as he can stay healthy, Bosh will look to regain his place as one of the best scoring forwards in the NBA and lead the Heat back to the playoffs.

Bosh (chest) has begun lifting and running, Joe Goodman of the Miami Herald reports. Bosh, who missed most of the second half of the season with a blood clot, remains on blood thinners, so he's unable to take contact. For the time being, he'll stick to lifting and running before resuming basketball activities over the summer. Bosh told reporters Friday that he hasn't shot a basketball since the All-Star break.
