Jefferson is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cavaliers with a right quad contusion.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when the injury occurred or how severe it really is, but it will bring Jefferson's status into question Sunday. Considering the Hornets are battling for playoff positioning, Jefferson might try and play through the injury, although we'll have to wait till closer to tip off before receiving the official word on his game availability. If he's unable to give it a go, Spencer Hawes and Frank Kaminsky could see some extra minutes behind starter, Cody Zeller.

Jefferson compiled 15 points (4-8 FG, 7-10 FT), six rebounds and an assist over 22 minutes in Saturday's 115-91 victory over the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
The big man posted his best scoring total over the last five games, and his third-highest of March. Despite being fully recovered from his myriad of injuries, Jefferson has continued coming off the bench while Cody Zeller garners the run with the starting five. He still serves a solid source of points and rebounds, but his production is clearly capped by the fact that his minutes have not climbed higher than 30 in any of the 20 games since his return.

Jefferson scored 21 points (10-16 FG, 1-3 FT) to go with 10 rebounds, one assist, and one steal over 27 minutes in a 109-106 victory over the Heat on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Jefferson showed shades of his old self in Thursday's close victory, exceeding 20 points for the first time since his return from a knee injury. Having assumed a role coming off the bench in coach Steve Clifford's rotation, Jefferson's fantasy value has taken a hit with his reduced workload. Jefferson received more minutes than Cody Zeller, Tyler Hansbrough, and Frank Kaminsky on Thursday, however, which may continue through the regular season.

Jefferson scored 10 points (5-11 FG) while adding 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 30 minutes off the bench during Saturday's win over the Rockets.
EDGE Analysis
Hornets coach Steve Clifford has been content so far to leave Jefferson on his second unit, giving Cody Zeller the starts, but Saturday's 30-minute workload was Jefferson's largest since he returned from his knee injury after the All-Star break. It may just be a matter of time before he returns to the starting five as well.

Jefferson scored 20 points (9-14 FG, 2-3 FT) to go along with six rebounds and two assists during 26 minutes in Monday's 108-103 win over the Timberwolves.
EDGE Analysis
The Hornets were able to wear down the T-Wolves starters and Big Al took advantage of their young front court in the process. He's remained out of the starting lineup since returning from knee surgery, which has hurt his consistency a bit. Still, Jefferson has been productive off the bench and could see a nice boost if his minutes increase down the stretch.

Jefferson scored 19 points (8-15 FG, 3-3 FT) with seven rebounds during 19 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's 126-92 win against the Suns.
EDGE Analysis
It was Big Al's highest point total since returning from a knee injury Feb. 19 against the Bucks. From a production standpoint, Jefferson has done a nice job off the bench for the Hornets, making the most of his minutes (22.4 per game in his last six). Big Al isn't a terrible option in daily formats considering his pedigree and how low his salary is.

Jefferson recorded 18 points (9-13 FG) and seven rebounds in 24 minutes during the Hornets' 104-96 victory over the Nets on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Jefferson has seen a combined 47 minutes in his first two games back from a torn meniscus. He is coming off the bench behind Cody Zeller, and it's unclear whether Jefferson will return to the starting lineup eventually. However, the important thing is that he is pain-free, and he will likely have better luck scoring against backups at this stage in his career anyways. Nevertheless, dominant displays like this probably shouldn't be expected all that often from the 31-year-old big man.

Jefferson will come off the bench for Friday's game against Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
Friday marks Jefferson's first game back after missing over a month with a torn meniscus. He will come off the bench as he gets re-adjusted to the speed of the game, leaving Charlotte to start Cody Zeller again at center.

Jefferson will play Friday against the Bucks, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
EDGE Analysis
After returning to full contact work earlier in the week, Jefferson will be back on the court for the first time since Dec. 28. The Hornets have not yet announced whether or not he'll start, but he figures to see a similar minutes load - likely in the low-to-mid 20s - either way, especially considering Charlotte will be without Spencer Hawes (back).

Jefferson (knee) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Bucks.
EDGE Analysis
Jefferson resumed full-contact practice Wednesday and didn't notice any problems with his knee during Thursday's session, either, so assuming he completes morning shootaround without incident Friday, he'll be cleared to make his first appearance since Dec. 28. The Hornets will likely bring Jefferson off the bench behind frontcourt starters Marvin Williams (neck) and Cody Zeller, but he could still be in line for 20-plus minutes while Spencer Hawes sits out with a back strain.
