Gasol contributed eight points (3-10 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds and nine assists in 32 minutes during the Grizzlies' 107-102 win versus the Lakers on Tuesday. Gasol has slowed down scoring the ball after going for 20 points or more in the first three games of the season, but he has still been a consistently impressive contributor in every category except three-pointers. Through eight games Gasol is averaging 17.8 points (48.6 FG, 81.6 FT), 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 blocks in 36 minutes per game. Expect Gasol to continue playing plenty of minutes as the Grizzlies look to build on their impressive start, and avoid having to fight to the final game of the season in order to clinch a playoff spot like they had to last year.
