Howard (forearm) practiced Saturday, the Houston Chronicle reports. While Howard was held out of Friday's exhibition finale, the team said it was merely for precautionary reasons and has been adamant that he will be fine for Tuesday's opener against the Lakers. His ability to go through practice Saturday should go a long way in easing any remaining concerns.
