Richardson's role with the Sixers for the 2014-2015 season should be confirmed soon. Coach Brett Brown stated, "Soon we're going to know what's going to happen with his playing days," Tom Moore of Calkins Media reports. The 33-year old Richardson didn't play last season after he was recovering from knee surgery. At this point, we can be certain he won't be starting like he did in 827 of his 838 career games. With that in mind, coach Brett Brown said he wants to keep Richardson on the team, but Brown still isn't sure whether he wants Richardson to be a player or mentor.
