Lillard (ankle) will not play in Thursday's preseason game against the Jazz, The Oregonian reports. Lillard tweaked an ankle after having his foot stepped on during Tuesday's preseason opener, so the point guard will simply sit out Thursday for maintenance purposes. As a result, Steve Blake is expected to start at point guard for the Blazers.
