Pekovic was held out of Thursday's practice as a precaution, Andy Greder of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. The Wolves are taking it easy with Pekovic, who dealt with foot and ankle injuries near the end of last season. While those issues have not resurfaced during camp, the team limit Pekovic's workload in an effort to preserve him for the regular season.
