Thomas was waived by the Celtics on Sunday, Marc Stein of ESPN reports. Thomas has spent time with the Jazz, Cavaliers, and Celtics this offseason. He'll now become a free agent searching for a new team that is looking to add depth to their bench. Regardless of where Thomas ends up, it's highly unlikely that the 25-year-old will be much of a factor this season.
