DeJuan Blair said the kick that got him ejected from Monday's loss to the Spurs was unintentional. Blair was ejected during the fourth quarter of Monday's Game 4 loss to the Spurs after his foot connected with Tiago Splitter's head following a foul. No one is arguing the foot to the head part, but Blair and Splitter had very different takes on the situation. For his part, Blair denied any intention on the kick, "It was just an accident," Blair said. "I reacted to the call and his face happened to be down there. It was nothing intentional, especially the way I had been playing. Tiago Splitter, however, wasn't buying Blair's explanation after the game. "After watching the video, it looks like it was intentional," he said. "He has nothing against me. He's a good kid. I know him. I don't know why he did it." We'll let the league sort this one out, but Blair has provided the Mavs with excellent energy off the bench and a potential Game 5 suspension would push Brandan Wright and Samuel Dalembert into more prominent roles.
