Amare Stoudemire suggested that he might leave the NBA to play in Israel once his contract with the Knicks expires in 2015. Stoudemire is co-owner of Hopoel Jerusalem, a team which finished first in the Israeli league this summer. "We'll see,'' Stoudemire said. "You can't rule anything out. The future is unknown and so if I have an opportunity to [play in Israel] and am still in great health, it would be great." The very possibility of Amare heading to Israel will grab headlines but we won't read too much into this until the 2014-15 season begins winding down.
