Nuggets coach Brian Shaw said recently that it's "really not a big deal" if Ty Lawson (sprained left ankle) doesn't play again this season. Lawson is officially day-to-day but Shaw's quotes are rather bleak. "If he can come back and he feels strong enough to come back and it's not going to do any further damage, then I want him to come back," he said. "But if he can't, it's really not a big deal. I think the most important thing is his health going forward." It's a reasonable stance with five games left on the schedule, and owners should consider Lawson doubtful until a more positive update surfaces. Aaron Brooks will look to continue his terrific run as a starter vs. Houston on Wednesday.
