Nicolas Batum scored 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting (including two threes) with 15 rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in the Blazers' 107-106 loss to the Blazers on Monday. Batum grabbed a career-high 16 boards in the last game and it's possible the Blazers have sent him to the glass knowing that LaMarcus Aldridge (21 points, six boards, two steals) isn't at full strength. The recent surge by Batum has had him playing at a top 25-35 level over the last two weeks.
