Jason Thompson played just five minutes and had three points and no rebounds in Tuesday's ugly loss to the Rockets. We've been hinting that Carl Landry is coming on and threatening JT's job and it may have happened tonight. However, Landry wasn't special, finishing with four points in just 10 minutes, while Reggie Evans had eight points and eight rebounds in 24 minutes. This game was over after the first quarter with the Kings up 42-17, so it's hard to figure out what might have been. But we would not be surprised to see Landry and Evans get more minutes than Thompson again on Friday against the Lakers. There were no reports of an injury to Thompson, so dropping him for a hot free agent seems to make sense.
