Durant (foot) will be removed from basketball activities and is considered out indefinitely, Royce Young of ESPN reports. This obviously is not good news for Durant or the Thunder, and the chances that the reigning MVP is able to return this season appear to be slimming. Durant, who has persistent soreness in his surgically repaired foot, will be removed from basketball activities and be evaluated at a later, unknown time. The team has not ruled him out for the rest of the season, however, but that's the direction this would seem to be headed.
